Iron Mike Pitching Machine Review

The Iron Mike pitching machines are the Clydesdales of pitching machines. All they do is work year after year. You can dump a ton of balls in the hopper and just let it go. If you have a stationary position for an Iron Mike, this is a great machine. These are great for High Schools and Colleges.

On the other hand, if you need something that is portable these machines are not

for you. They are BIG! There is no way you are dragging these machines out to the practice field for a one hour batting practice. These machines also aren’t easily set up relative to the smaller machines. If you want to change speeds on an Iron Mike it’s going to take several minutes to adjust the speed and angle.

Every pitching machine has it’s pros and cons. The overwhelming pro for the Iron Mike is its consistency and durability. The overwhelming con is the lack of portability.
